As a Communications Specialist at CFPCN, I play a key role in translating the organization’s strategic plan into engaging, accessible communications that support internal teams and connect with external stakeholders. My work helps articulate CFPCN’s mission to improve primary care delivery, while ensuring that patients, staff, and partners understand and value the work being done.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Communications Development:
Translate CFPCN’s strategic goals into clear, compelling messaging across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with the organization’s tone, values, and priorities.

Content Creation & Copywriting:
Develop written content for newsletters, website updates, social media, reports, patient-facing materials, and internal documents. Maintain consistency in voice and messaging while tailoring language to diverse audiences (patients, providers, staff, community partners).

Campaign Planning & Execution:
Support health promotion campaigns, program awareness efforts, and internal initiatives by creating communication plans that incorporate copy, graphics, and appropriate delivery timelines.

Team Collaboration & Consultation:
Work closely with clinical teams, leadership, and administrative departments to understand communication needs and provide expert advice and support on messaging, tone, and audience engagement.

Internal Communications:
Support staff engagement through newsletters, internal bulletins, and team updates. Help shape the flow of information to ensure CFPCN staff are informed, connected, and aligned.

Digital & Multimedia Support:
Collaborate on visual content using tools like Adobe After Effects, especially for video and animated content that enhances storytelling and engagement.
